Supervisor
Supervise day-to-day responsibilities in the coding area Coordinate
and perform quality review of coding/abstracting and analyze
clinical case mix. Maintain the quality of medical record data in
SMS for evaluating and educating coding staff Certified Coder
Required Associates degree in Health Information/Medical Record
Technology (RHIT or eligible) – or – Bachelors degree in Health
Information/Registered Health Information Administration (RHIA or
eligible) preferred. 5 years of Hospital coding also
preferred
Clinical Coordinator Nursing
Education
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Coordinates educational
services in the clinical setting to achieve equity of student
clinical experience according to the established standards of the
nursing program. Participates in didactic and clinical education,
including assisting in the planning, development, implementation,
evaluation and revision of designated course(s). Provides
leadership for faculty and students in the designated course(s).
This includes immediate supervision of faculty and students,
discipline and educational outcomes.
Qualifications/Experience Minimum Education: Graduate of School of
Nuring, Master’s Degree in Nursing. Preferred: current Certified
Nurse Educator (CNE). Minimum Work Experience: 2 years clinical
nursing and 4 years nursing education. Preferred Experience: 2
years nursing education as Assistant Professor. Required
Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensure as a registered nurse in
Iowa. Individuals are currently licensed when licensed in another
state and recognized for licensure in Iowa, pursuant to the nurse
licensure compact contained in Iowa code section 152E.1. Required
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Instructional, communication,
interpersonal, and nursing skills. All
