Bespoke tailoring goes all the way back to the 1300’s. Clothing was originally simply a way of covering the body, both from other people’s eyes and from the weather conditions. It has over the centuries become a multi billion pound industry though. Hundreds of years ago people would make their own clothes and they were purely used for practical reasons.
