Hi there My name is Duncan and if youre reading this youve taken your first step to beginning or improving your knowledge of the guitar I have 20 years experience in both classical and contemporary guitar playing and am certified through The Royal School of music (Grade 8 Classical The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (B.Mus Contemporary Music Performance RockSchool (Lrsl Teaching qualification. I am offering lessons to students of ages 8 80 all abilities and can competently teach styles ranging from classical blues rock funk jazz reggae to pop. My aim is to be able to supply you tools to approach any style should you be willing to put the work and practice in though. Even if youre only ambition is to learn a couple of favorite tunes I can accommodate my lessons to address whatever it is you want out of your playing I encourage technique sight-reading harmony and theory fret board skills aural and transcription all of which I incorporate into my lessons to give you a greater understanding of what and why you playing something which will help you with your own creative endeavors. I have all the necessary recording equipment too and am open to teaching recording techniques and approaches to popular recording software I give lessons from my studio near Gospel Oak Station Belsize Park Kentish Town Hampstead Heath.
